The UK’s biggest gravel event, in and around Kielder Forest on the English–Scottish border.
Our Story
Now in its 11th year, the Dirty Reiver makes use of the extensive gravel trail network across the border country. With hundreds of kilometres of tracks to choose from, we change the course every few years to keep it fresh — so returning riders always have new vistas to explore. Three distances mean there’s a ride for everyone.
Sustainability
Environmental Stewardship
We’re committed to protecting and promoting the landscape we ride in. We’re proud members of 1% for the Planet, pledging more than 1% of our takings to the environment, and we partner with Trees for Life to help maintain the forests. During the event we recycle where we can, use compostable serveware, refill riders’ bottles at feeds, and run a dedicated team to sweep the trails afterwards.
